My name is Carl and I am a qualified blacksmith graduating from Plumpton college in 2006. I set up my own forge in 2007 and have had the honour of working alongside some very experienced blacksmiths since that time. I do everything I can by hand in my workshop, ranging from decorative to practical items to agricultural fabrication as well as some mobile welding. I enjoy doing everything from decorative garden gates to reconditioning builders tools to bottle openers to wheel barrow repairs.

Since 2012 I have been researching medieval blacksmithing and have created a mobile medieval blacksmith display that I take around to various historic sites and shows to display and talking about blacksmithing in the medieval times.
